About

Tea Master is a Japanese matcha cafe and green tea shop located in the Little Tokyo neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles. Japanese tea has been sold out of the same store for over a decade, with the cafe portion opening in 2014. A former employee took over the location in 2016, branding it as Tea Master and opening in November of that year. Daigoro, the shop's owner, is a native of Tokyo and a student of the Japanese tea ceremony’s Edosenke school.

MISSIOn

Tea Master aims to be an integral role in global tea culture, where traditional and modern views meet. The name Tea Master is meant to be open ended. And while we seek mastery in preparing tea for maximum enjoyment, we also invite you to be the Tea Master. ありがとうございます！
