Koshun - Sencha - Loose Leaf Green Tea

Grown in the mountainous region near Mt. Fuji, Koshun is known for its smooth texture, rich aroma, lingering flavor, and very low astringency. Compared to the more common Yabukita cultivar, Koshun offers a distinctive fragrance and taste while remaining exceptionally approachable and easy to enjoy, making it ideal for those transitioning from tea bags to loose-leaf tea.

Koshun is forgiving to brew and is especially enjoyable when steeped twice, with both infusions delivering a gentle, fragrant flavor. It is best enjoyed hot but also works well as a cold brew or poured over ice. Like all sencha teas, it is best appreciated without sweeteners or milk to fully experience its natural character.
