Our Rich Blend Organic Loose-Leaf Kabusecha Green Tea is an expert blend of rich, first-harvest leaves that, when brewed, has a mellow, even flavor with a soft, hazy sweetness. Our kabusecha is made from the heartier leaves of sayamakaori cultivar and grown beside a riverbank in the mountains of central Mie prefecture by a producer committed to 100% organic tea farming. We recommend this tea to our guests who love sencha, gyokuro, or who are just looking for a high-quality tea to start their journey into premium loose-leaf green teas.

Our guests have found that our kabusecha an enduring tea that can shine through after more steepings (3 or 4 infusions) than many loose-leaf green teas (two infusions). It’s strength as unified blend allows it to make a stunning, full-bodied cold brew tea as well that still boats a bright sweetness. As with all our sencha teas, we do not recommend adding anything (sweetener or milk) to it.
